I’m writing this anonymously, not because I’m hiding, but because it gives me the freedom to tell the truth. My life has been lived in chapters that never seemed to belong to the same book — nursing shifts, raising kids, changing careers, travelling, starting over more times than I can count. For years, the pieces never quite fit together.
Only recently have I started to understand that there might have been a thread running through all of it: the possibility of ADHD, Autism, or something in the neurodivergent family that I never had the language for. Looking back, so many moments make more sense than they ever did at the time.
This blog isn’t a polished memoir or a dramatic reveal. It’s simply a place to lay out the story as I remember it, one chapter at a time. The good, the messy, the confusing, the funny, the parts I’m proud of, and the parts I’m still trying to understand.
I don’t know exactly where this will go yet. But this is where it starts.
